This was censored out by Expat from his page:

Hoagland is just like Sagan, only less credible.

Sagan worked on a project to nuke the Moon. The only reason it didn't happen was because the bomb was too heavy for the rocket to carry.

Sagan used to promote the notion that the Universe must be teeming with life, "billions and billions of stars." Then, he wrote extensively about how Abductees are psychotic dreamers, who substitute ETs and UFOs for elves and fairies of bygone-days.

Hoagland says that Sagan was a double agent. Hoagland used to promote the nuclear powered Spacecraft, Project Prometheus. He went on the TV news magazine 'Good Morning America' and gave a demonstration of how nuclear radiation can be neutralized with Hyper Dimensional Physics. Now, he deletes all mention of Project Prometheus and the X-37B from his facebutt page.

Hoagland accuses all his critics as being "paid agents of disinformation." Hoagland is the pot calling the kettle, 'Black'.

  1. How can you in anyway EVER equate Carl Sagan with Hoagland?

Look at anything Sagan said. Most of what he said (nearly 100%) holds true.
Look at a random thing Hoagland said EVER. Chances are they are untrue and disproved.

Carl Sagan was astronomer by trade, a REAL scientist with peer-reviewed stuff (which you actually state later on is real science).
Hoagland is a pseudo-scientific moron with no peer-reviewed stuff.

  2. Carl Sagan used to go on the Johnny Carson show saying how with all the "billions and billions of stars in the Univers", that there must be life on many of them. That's an unfounded assertion, not supported by math or science.

Then he wrote extensively that UFO abductees were just imagining things, like people in the Middle ages used to see elves and faries. Again, the actual witnesses have more data than Sagan, who isn't an MD or even a psychologist.

  3. Yes, I disallowed that text on 'The Emoluments of Mars.' Absolutely. The reason is that I had previously allowed exactly similar text, so your point had been made already. You had started comment-flooding and I had been asked by several regular readers to control it.

  4. Pattacakes,

What you don't seem to take into consideration is the fact that your audience asks me questions which require a similar response to a prior comment. This is the consequence of you guys trying to maintain a blissully ignorant state of denial.
